Formulating a policy framework to promote green growth in Vietnam

Objectives :To develop a policy framework to promote green growth in the field of natural resources and environment in Vietnam until 2020, vision to 2030.Major contents:_ To investigate and research a theoretical basis and international experiences in green growth._ To investigate, survey and assess the current situation and the potential of green growth in the field of natural resources and environment in Vietnam._ To research, analyze, identify opportunities, challenges, barriers and orient the green growth model in the field of resources and environment for Vietnam._ To propose a policy framework promoting green growth in the field of resources and environment in Vietnam until 2020, vision to 2030.Products:_ A report on theoretical and international experiences in green growth_ A investigation, survey and evaluation report on the current situation and potential of green growth in natural resources and environment in Vietnam._ A report analysing and identifying opportunities, challenges, barriers and orienting the green growth model in the field of resources and environment for Vietnam. _ A draft policy framework and a roadmap promoting green growth in the field of natural resources and environment in Vietnam until 2020, Vision 2030.Duration: 2011 – 2014 Project Status: The products are prepared for acceptance
