Hanoi, December 7th, 2017, the workshop on Acceptance of Low carbon society scenarios formulation output for Haiphong City was held by the Institute of Strategy and Policy on Natural Resources and Environment (ISPONRE) and Research Group on Integrated Model of Asia-Pacific (Japan) included National Academic Ritsumeikan University, Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES) National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES), Mizuho Information and Research Institute.
In this time, the Low carbon society scenarios for Haiphong City focus on the area of using energy. The results of the research will be reference source for formulating scenarios on other sectors such as solid waste, agro-forestry and land use.
