The Institute of Strategy and Policy on Natural Resources and Environment strengthened cooperation with the American Chamber of Commerce in Hanoi

On February 21, 2019, Dr. Duong Thanh An, Deputy Director General of the Institute of Strategy and Policy on Natural Resources and Environment (ISPONRE) worked with Ms. Virginia B. Foote, President of Bay Global Strategies (United States), Co-Owner of the Vietnam Business Forum (VBF), member of the Executive Board of the American Chamber of Commerce in Hanoi (AmCham) on the cooperation with MONRE Business and Enterprise Supporting Team (MBEST) that are led by Dr. Duong Thanh An.
The objective of the MBEST is to create good conditions to invest and do business in Vietnam, included consultancy, supporting in complying and enforcing legal regulations related to natural resources and environment of Vietnam. MBEST has met and worked with domestic and foreign organizations to introduce their supporting mechanism and activities, with the desire to build public-private partnership (PPP) mechanism between management agencies and businesses to support implementing regulations on natural resources and environment.
The two sides exchanged views on the ongoing mechanism of MBEST as well as opportunities for cooperation in the coming time. Accordingly, the two sides agreed to seek coordinated activities in the coming time; study and propose communicational and educational projects on environmental protection; promoting MBEST at VBF as well as working with AmCham to connect with US companies.
